今シーズン（1999年）のストライドはイギリスの詩人 マイク・ベンソンとのタイアップによって、また新しいスニーカーのスタイルをつくり出している。 それはTREVORというモデルのソールに見ることができる。 This season (1999.) STRIDE is utilizing the talents of British Poet Mike Benson (Howie B cover) to create the words for the new Army Sole . ( as seen on the TREVOR modele )

1970　Born Leeds, England may 3rd (Age 28) 1987　At aged 17 joined a well known Northern independent quickly becoming buyer dealing with Katherine Hamnett, Dolce Gabbana and others. 1990　Set up Men's designer footwear company Micholas Deakins , became well known in UK as a designer. 1993　Sold Nicolas Deakins to move to London and design more fasion oriented styles. Set up Just Deakin and launched the Herbert Toe and Judi Toe labels. 1996　STRIDE was launched in UK to great acclaim. 1997　Won 1997 UK footwear Designer OF the Year, chosen by a panel of designers including Patrick Cox and Joseph Azury.
